Well the Title says it all. Today Boys and Girls we are going to look at the phenonomen of Arm Chair Magicians, Satanic Posers and Occult Nerds.
Lets start with Arm Chair Magicians, This is the species of Occultist that do very little Magical practice and Just read about Magick. This is often due to laziness but also an innate fear of the Occult and a wish not to get their hands dirty and experience an genuine Magical act. Many years ago I was practicing The Goetia with a friend. We then both saw a Demon of the Goetia, after that my friend stopped doing any Magick. She had a vast collection on the Occult but would no longer lift a finger to trace a Sigil.
Satanic Posers, now this type of species exists mainly on the internet. They often come as Trolls and will often shit post about other Occultists and Satanists. They are very deluded and will often resort to childish insults. I call them posers as they often wear inverted Crucifixes and dress like Militia.
Now the last type is the least harmful Occult Nerds. Similar to the armchair Magician however they do practice. However nobody is as awesome to them as Anton La Vey or Mr. Crowley.
The Occulist should avoid getting into traps such as hero worship. It is good to have mentors however hero worship should not be used as an excuse to be idol.
So that is my look at the species that often haunt Occult Bookshops and Conferences.
